The investments we have made in sports, cultural and social projects benefit communities and propel us to move forward as a company that upholds access to education, culture and the arts, bringing our brand closer to the everyday lives of Brazilians. The Aché Cultural Complex is an Aché endeavor that enables people to experience more fulfilling lives. The complex houses a theater, a restaurant, shops and the Tomie Ohtake Institute. “Art and Science – Our Place Between Extremes” is among the exhibits we sponsored in 2015. The show contemplated art from a scientific viewpoint and our relationship with science through art.
The exhibit gathered 35 works from 16 artists and was part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The show opened in November 2015 with free entry for the general public, Aché’s
contribution to the advancement of art and culture in the country.
Aché offered financial support to several hospitals for research, improved services and enhanced patient quality of life conditions, among them three São Paulo based institutions A.C. Camargo Hospital, the PENSI Institute (the research and education arm of the José Luiz Egydio Setúbal Foundation, lead sponsor of the Sabará Children’s Hospital), and TUCCA (an association for children and adolescents with cancer linked with the Santa Marcelina Hospital) – as well as Fundação Pio XII – the Barretos cancer hospital and the Little Prince Complex in Curitiba.
Aché also sponsors running events and encourages people to practice sports and improve their quality of life. Last year the company endorsed over 30 running events attended by thousands of amateur and professional athletes.
